A PSV Eindhoven fan who invaded the pitch to attack the opposing team’s goalie was on Monday banned for 40 years, the Dutch club announced.

PSV imposed the longest possible ban on the fan who attacked to Sevilla’s Marko Dmitrovic in the UEFA Europa League play-off return match, strongly condemning the incident.

The individual was already under a stadium ban by the national football association at the time of the incident, a statement by the club noted.

The 20-year-old was also barred from the area around the stadium for two years.
