Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held on Monday a video-conference meeting with Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis.

The meeting was held in line with the Bahamas’ hosting of a regional climate change conference of the Caribbean states, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said on his Twitter account.

The video-conference meeting tackled a number of topics of common interest, most notably climate change as Egypt is set to host and chair the upcoming UN Climate Change Conference (COP27), added the spokesman.
