The Bahrain Radio and Television today joined brotherly Egypt in its celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution, within the framework of the long-standing distinguished fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt.

The special media coverage of the event aimed to highlight the importance of the July 23 Revolution in Egypt at the regional and international levels.

It included a package of special direct shows, breaks and patriotic songs to celebrate the happy occasion for all Bahrainis and Egyptians, embodying Bahrain’s appreciation for Egypt and its role in safeguarding Arab national security, as well as fostering love and cooperation among Arab peoples.

The extensive coverage, themed “The History of Two Civilisations”, featured a number of programmes, including reports, interviews and talk shows, in addition to telephone and video calls with a number of personalities to shed light on the robust Bahraini-Egyptian relations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt.
