Cuba reiterated its condemnation of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.

During a ceremony held on Friday at Jose Marti International Airport on the occasion of sending 240,000 doses of the Corona vaccine provided as a gift from the Republic of Cuba to Syria, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment in Cuba Ana Teresita Gonzalez Fraga affirmed that sending the vaccines to Syria is an evidence on the depth and strength of relations that bind the two friendly countries.

“Despite the unjust US blockade imposed on the country, Cuba is exerting all its efforts to support the other countries in combating the epidemic, particularly Syria,” she said.
