Baghdad, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, affirmed Iraq’s continuation in providing humanitarian aid and its solidarity with brotherly Syria, and its contribution to mitigate the effects of the earthquake disaster and the rapid response to help those affected.
Abdullah, during his attendance at the meetings of the (30) extraordinary session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which officially launched today, Thursday in Baghdad, listened to the important interventions, proposals and recommendations of the members of the committee to address the problems and obstacles facing the organizational and financial aspects of the Union.
