Egypt condemns ‘brutal death’ of British lawmaker

The Foreign Ministry on Saturday 16/10/2021 decried the killing of UK Member of Parliament Sir David Amess in a “heinous attack”.

 

Conservative MP Sir David Amess has died after being stabbed multiple times at his constituency in Essex.

 

“We are shocked and saddened by the brutal death of Sir David Amess. We strongly condemn such a heinous attack,” Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez tweeted.

 

“We offer our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, as we express our solidarity with the UK government and people.”
