Egypt offers condolence to DR Congo after boat tragedy

Egypt offered its sincere condolences to the Democratic Republic of Congo after a boat capsized on Congo River, leaving over 50 people dead.

 

In a statement on Friday 08/10/2021, the Foreign Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the families of the sunken boat’s victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the boat accident.

 

The ministry also expressed the solidarity of the Egyptian people and government with the DRC in this tragedy, the statement added.
