Egypt, Sudan develop comprehensive development plan for Nile Valley Authority

Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir said Saturday 26/03/2022 a comprehensive plan is being implemented to develop the Nile Valley Authority for Riverine Navigation in cooperation with Sudan.

It’s time to advance this vital and important sector, especially with the government’s great interest to maximize the use of riverine navigation in transporting goods to ease pressure on the road network, reduce accidents and minimize transportation costs, Wazir told the General Assembly of the Nile Valley Authority for Riverine Navigation.

The general assembly convened Saturday under Wazir and his Sudanese counterpart Hesham Abu Zeid, who described the authority as “the perfect icon of joint cooperation”.
