New Delhi, Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister met with Yoshimasa Hayashi, Foreign Minister of Japan. The meeting came within the framework of Sayyid Badr’s participation in Raisina Dialogue held at the Indian capital, New Delhi.

The two sides exchanged congratulations on the 50th anniversary of establishing the diplomatic relations between the two countries. They also reiterated their keenness to support and promote areas of the bilateral cooperation to achieve the mutual benefits particularly in fields of economic cooperation, trade and investment.

The two sides also exchanged viewpoints on regional and international issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (Chief Coordinator for the participation of the Sultanate of Oman in the G20 meetings), Khalid Hashil Al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and officials from both sides.
