Amman – In Amman, former Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher emphasized the balanced and influential nature of Jordan’s diplomacy on both global and regional scales.

According to Jordan News Agency, who spoke at a dialogue session titled “Jordanian Diplomacy, Efforts, and Opportunities,” organized by the All-Jordan Youth Commission in Amman on Monday, Jordanian diplomacy is respected internationally due to its logical, systematic approach and the strong leadership of the Hashemite dynasty.

Muasher highlighted that Jordan’s diplomatic efforts are always grounded in well-supported ideas and proposals, making a significant impact in various international forums. He specifically pointed out the central role of the Palestinian question in Jordan’s diplomatic priorities, a stance that has remained unwavering despite global political and economic shifts.

Further emphasizing Jordan’s diplomatic actions, Muasher noted King Abdullah’s efforts in highlighting the core of the Palestinian cause through his travels and discussions in Arab and Western nations.

Mazen Tabbalat, Director of the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), added that the All-Jordan Youth Commission, as part of KAFD, continues to promote the national message across social, political, and economic sectors. Tabbalat brought attention to the renewed focus on the Palestinian cause, especially among younger generations, in light of the recent events in Gaza.

He praised the roles of King Abdullah, Queen Rania, and the Crown Prince in providing political and humanitarian support to the Palestinian people. Tabbalat also mentioned the Commission’s efforts in hosting dialogue sessions that illuminate the Palestinian situation and Jordan’s perspective, involving national leaders in these discussions.

Othman Abbadi, the Commission’s coordinator in Amman, stated that the sessions aim to enhance youth engagement in various issues and promote a culture of dialogue among young people. The sessions, he said, are designed to be inclusive of diverse opinions and ideas, fostering a national youth dialogue on various challenges.

The session, which aimed to engage and educate young people about Jordan’s diplomatic efforts, was moderated by Safwan Shiyyab, the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Jordan.
