RIYADH, The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Al-Budaiwi, stressed, Monday, on the importance of strengthening joint military cooperation within the framework of the GCC organization.
This came in a meeting between Al-Budaiwi and the Commander of the Unified Military Command of the GCC Lieutenant General Dr. Eid Al-Shalawi, at the General Secretariat HQ in Riyadh, according to a statement issued by the Secretariat.
During the meeting, many issues related to joint military action were discussed to further develop the council’s endeavors.
For his part, Al-Shalawi congratulated Al-Budaiwi on assuming his duties as Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, wishing him further success.
