Damascus- The Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 50 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 18 other cases recovered while two others passed away.
In a statement, the ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 26,342 till now, of which 22,151 have recovered, while 1,937 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was reported in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death of the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
