Housing Minister Assem el Gazzar has made 14 new administrative decisions meant to remove encroachments in several cities.
The decisions cover the areas of the first sector of the northwestern coast, New Aswan, New Fashn, the second sector of the northwestern coast, the third sector of the northwestern coast and New Borg el Arab.
Gazzar, in a statement Tuesday, said his Ministry would continue to act to remove all forms of violation and encroachment in the new cities so as to prevent the creation of shanty towns.
The executive apparatuses in the new cities should act in cooperation with Housing Police and police stations in the areas to remove the encroachments, the minister said.
