Indian scholars thank president Sisi, wish Egypt more progress, prosperity

A number of Indian scholars thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for holding a training course in Egypt with the participation of senior scholars, deans of faculties, professors of universities and heads of religious and cultural institutions in India and several Egyptian preachers and imams at the Awqaf Ministry’s HQ.

“Egypt is a great heavyweight to Muslims at large and is a good country with great civilization,” they asserted at the conclusion of the training course, which kicked off proceedings on July 16 and will last until July 26.

Courses come as part of the Awqaf Ministry’s role in spreading moderate thought in Egypt and abroad.

The Indian scholars wished Egypt more security, progress and prosperity.
