TULKARM: At least five more Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces during the ongoing Israeli military onslaught on Nour Sham refugee camp in the northern West Bank province of Tulkarm, bringing the total number of martyrs in the camp since Thursday evening to seven, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources identified the five victims as Alaa Yousef Abdel Rahim, Jaafar Salim A’amar, Ahmed Hossam Shahada, Omar Saleh Abu Al-Rob, and Ali Mohammed Abdullah, without providing any information on the circumstances of their killing. The bodies of the five martyrs are currently in the possession of the Israeli occupation army, the sources added.

With the killing of the five youths, the death toll in the camp has risen to 7 individuals so far, including the child Qais Fathi Nasrallah, 15 years old, who was transferred to the hospital yesterday, and Salim Faisal Ghunaim, 30 years old, who remains in one of the camp’s houses.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces continue to preve
nt ambulances from entering the camp to transport the casualties. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams are attempting to reach the injured after receiving reports of casualties within the camp. However, Israeli forces have prevented them, chased them, and asked them to leave.

The Israeli forces also opened fire at a Red Crescent ambulance after its crew attempted to retrieve the body of one of the deceased from one of the outskirts of the camp, without reporting any injuries.

Meantime, the forces continue their aggression on the camp by deploying more military vehicles stationed in all its axes, alleys, streets, and the intercity Nablus Street adjacent to its entrance, amid intense gunfire towards anyone attempting to leave or enter the camp.

Israeli army bulldozers are also carrying out extensive demolition and destruction of infrastructure and citizens’ properties, targeting the camp’s bakery, commercial shops, houses, and walls, in addition to destruction of vehicles. This attack
is described as the most violent and worst in years.

Israeli forces are also raiding dozens of homes, deploying attack dogs, searching, vandalizing, and arresting youths, assaulting them with beatings and abuse, and deploying snipers on the rooftops of tall buildings. They have also bombed a number of homes with shoulder- launched missiles.

The Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Al-Israa Specialized Hospital in Tulkarm have received 12 injuries so far from live ammunition and brutal beatings by Israeli occupation soldiers, with the injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
