Under royal directives to help Gaza, Jordan dispatched on Thursday the first of several aid planes to El Arish airport in Egypt, carrying humanitarian and medical aid on board.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufian Qudah, stated that, with joint efforts and coordination between the ministry, the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, and Egypt, the aid package will be transferred and delivered to Gaza through the Rafah border crossing.

Qudah hailed Egypt’s cooperation and coordination to facilitate the delivery of Jordanian aid to Gaza, stressing that the Kingdom will continue to extend a helping hand and assistance to the Palestinian brothers, in implementation of royal directives.
