Three lifeboats were sent to an Irish Ferries vessel after a fire erupted while sailing on the English Channel, according to media reports Friday.

The fire broke out in the engine room of the Isle of Innisfree that was sailing from the UK’s Dover to the French city of Calais, according to the BBC.

Three lifeboats from Dover, Ramsgate and Dungeness have been sent to the ferry that was carrying 94 passengers and a crew of 89.

A French salvage tug was also sent to the area.

The BBC said the fire has been contained, citing the Irish Ferries. Meanwhile, the British coast guard also confirmed that no injuries have been reported.
