Education Minister and Acting Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar said on Saturday 25/12/2021 the Health Ministry has performed 95% of the surgical operations under a presidential initiative dealing with urgent waiting lists for surgical procedures from 2019 till now.
During his meeting with health officials, Abdel Ghaffar stressed the importance of expanding in establishing fully equipped oncology centers nationwide as well as training health cadres at these centers to offer better services to the patients.
Meanwhile, head of the secretariat of specialized medical centers Maha Ibrahim pointed to conducting 147,158 surgical operations from January 2019 till now, adding Mallawi hospital in Minya governorate had been operated.
