Manama, The Ministry of Legal Affairs held workshop on developing a mechanism for submitting, preparing and studying draft government laws.

The Cabinet ad approved the memorandum of the Coordinating Committee regarding a proposal to develop a mechanism for submitting, preparing and studying government draft laws.

It assigned the Ministry of Legal Affairs to organise workshops to inform Government authorities about developed mechanism.

Legal Affairs Minister Youssef bin Abdulhussein Khalaf conducted the workshop, which was attended by a number of ministers, to shed light on the new procedure

The developed mechanism aimed to unify the preparation of legislation supporting the march of growth and development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the Government’s program and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

Other workshops are scheduled to be held targeting the concerned employees and legal affairs teams in all government agencies in order to inform them about the mechanism.
