Mozambican president hails historical relations with Egypt

Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi hailed Friday 05/11/2021 the historical relations linking his country with Egypt.

 

Receiving Egyptian Ambassador in Maputo Hatim El Alfy at the end of his tenure, Nyusi commended the remarkable development that the two countries’ relations have witnessed over the past years, especially after his visit to Cairo in 2019.

 

He appreciated the support his country receives from Egypt in several development sectors.

 

Alfy, for his part, said Egypt will continue to support Mozambique in various fields of development in light of directives of the political leadership to provide all forms of support to the brotherly African countries.
