HEBRON: The occupation forces this evening installed a military tower as well as placed caravans on Palestinian-owned land in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, according to a local activist.

Media activist in the town of Beit Ummar, Mohammed Awad, told WAFA that forces installed a military watchtower in the Dhahr Fatima area to the north of the town. They also placed mobile caravans on lands owned by Palestinian residents from the Adi family.

The activist noted that the tower and caravans are surrounded by hundreds of dunums of fertile agricultural lands planted with grape vines and almonds.

He stressed that the erection of the military tower and caravans was an obstacle to landowners and would restrict access to their private lands. “Such measures would increase the suffering of residents, including farmers, in Beit Ummar.”
