JENIN: A Palestinian youth was injured today by Israeli forces’ fire west of the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire at a youth, from the town of Silat al-Harithiya, while he was present near the Illegal Israeli separation barrier, which runs through the town’s land.

The youth was shot and injured in the hand, which necessitated his transfer to the hospital for treatment.

Israeli forces further intensified their military presence across several towns and villages, where they set up flying military checkpoints, interrogating passengers, and checking their identity cards.
