Prices of 21-karat gold, the highest demand at local market, on Thursday stood at JD39.80 per gramme, as purchasing price, against JD38.10 as selling price. According to the Jordan Jewelers Association daily bulletin, the price of 24-karat and 18-karat gold amounted to JD46.80 and JD35.40 respectively. Gold prices in global markets on Friday reached $1,947 per ounce, according to the daily bulletin.
