The Russian ruble has continued to rise against the US and European currencies, and the dollar traded today below 53 rubles, while the euro traded at 55 rubles for the first time in about 7 years.

RT website said that the dollar exchange rate fell against the ruble on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 1.52 percent to the level of 52.95 rubles, while the euro exchange rate fell by 1.92 percent to 55.18 rubles.
