The Senate donated Monday JD50,000 from its Social Responsibility Fund in emergency humanitarian aid to support recovery in the Gaza Strip.According to a statement, the donation, which came under the directives of the Speaker of the Senate, Faisal Fayez, will be made through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.Fayez said that the senate attaches special importance to social and humanitarian work, pointing out that the donation comes within the framework of the role of members of the upper house to promote humanitarian work and social solidarity and stemming from the spirit of solidarity that brings together the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples.
