SHARJAH: H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri Decree concerning the restructuring of the Nama Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA).

According to the Decree, H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi will chair the foundation. The foundation enjoys a legal personality and full capacity to undertake the necessary legal actions to achieve its goals, exercise its powers, and has financial, administrative, and technical independence.

The decree stipulates that the foundation shall be headquartered in the city of Sharjah, and the Chairperson may decide to establish branches and offices in other cities and regions of the emirate or outside it.

The objectives of the foundation include supporting and empowering women and enhancing their local and global status, as well as their economic and social capabilities.

The decree also regulates various legal aspects of the institution, such as financial resources, fee exemptions, transi
tional provisions, executive decisions, enforcement, and publication.
