Syria, Cuba discuss means to enhance cooperation on health

Syria and Cuba have discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the domain of health.

That came during a meeting between Syria’s Ambassador to Cuba, Dr. Idris Mayya, and Cuban Deputy Health Minister for International Cooperation, Dr. Regla Angulo at the Cuban Ministry of Public Health in Havana.

Talks during the meeting highlighted the importance of activating the health agreement signed between the Syrian and Cuban Ministries of Health.

The two sides also called for boosting cooperation in the health field and the pharmaceutical industry in a way that would serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.

They reiterated rejection of the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the two countries Which have been doubled in coincide with the Coronavirus pandemic.
