Syria reports 54 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths on Saturday

Syria reported on Saturday 54 new Covid-19 related cases, 296 recoveries and 2 deaths, according to a statement by the Health Ministry.

The statement showed that the total tally of the coronavirus infections reported in Syria has reached up to 51,284, of which 38,008 have recovered, while 2,984 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was reported in Syria in March 2020 in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was on 29th of the same month
