Syrian national football team loses to Iran in world Cup qualifiers of Qatar 2022

The Syrian national football team lost 1-0 to its Iranian counterpart in the match that brought them together on Thursday at Azadi Stadium in Iran at the opening game of the decisive round of the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar 2022

 

Iran scored through Ali Reza Jahanbakhsh at the 57th minute of the match.

 

The Syrian team will meet its UAE counterpart on September 7th in Jordan in the second match.
