Damascus, SANA- Activities of the third day of the 5th Syrian-Russian Joint Meeting to continue the international conference on the return of the Syrian refugees and displaced people continued on Wednesday in the Palace of conferences in Damascus.
The meeting resumes discussing issues related to financial, cultural issues, in addition to signing an agreement on joint work to restore the Arch of Triumph, Palmyra.
The meeting also touched upon the inauguration of Maaloula Nikolskoy exhibition documenting the destiny of Deir Mar Takla (Monastery Saint Takla) in Damascus countryside and Nikolo-Vasilievsky monastery in Donetsk People’s Republic.
The meeting inaugurated a photo gallery on the ancient Russian historical monuments recorded on the World Heritage List and ancient illustrative inscriptions of books and postcards from the Russian Presidential Library’s electronic collections.
The meetings held on Tuesday have resulted in the signing of number of agreements in the educational and scientific research domains and exchanging academic expertise between Syria and Russia, in addition to issues related to culture, cinema, economy, trade, finance, customs, financial supervision.
