Syrian U-16 women basketball team comes second at FIBA finals

Syrian U-16 women basketball team achieved the second place at the FIBA Asian Championship 2022 Division B after losing to Samoa team with a score of 79/76 points in the final match that was held Thursday in the Jordanian capital of Amman.

The Syrian team reached the final match of the Division B championship by beating Lebanon with a score of 78/63 in the semi-final match.

The Syrian team opened its participation in the tournament by beating Samoa with a score of 75/63 before losing to the Filipino team with a score of 86/93 points then beating Indonesia with a score of 75/74.
