ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received telephone calls today from His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Trkiye; and His Excellency Najib Mikati, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon, expressing their condolences on the passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.

During the calls, they also offered their condolences to all members of the Al Nahyan family and the people of the UAE, asking God Almighty to bestow peace and mercy upon the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed and grant patience and solace to all at this time of grief.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed underscored his appreciation to the leaders for the sincere sentiment expressed towards the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed, stressing the strength of the relations that unite the UAE with their countries and their shared keenness to further bolster ties.
