ABU DHABI: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from His Excellency Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, during which he offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to His Highness over the passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
His Excellency also expressed his condolences to the entire Al Nahyan family and the people of the UAE, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and satisfaction upon the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed and grant his family and relatives patience and solace.
For his part, His Highness the President thanked His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani for his sincere sentiment, stressing the strength of relations between the two countries and their peoples and their shared keenness to bolster ties.
