The US dollar exchange rate recorded a new rise during Wednesday’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.

The dollar rate was up in Egyptian banks by 70 piasters at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), after it increased by 25 piasters in buying and selling at the beginning of today’s transactions.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered EGP 25.60 for buying and EGP 25.65 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate recorded EGP 25.25 for buying and 25.35 for selling.

At the Egyptian Gulf Bank, the dollar rate registered EGP 25.60 for buying and EGP 25.70 for selling.

According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 24.70 for buying and EGP 24.78 for selling.
