RAMALLAH: Today, the country is affected by a low-pressure system, resulting in cold to extremely cold weather and in widespread, heavy rain accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Winds are southwesterly to westerly, and are moderate to strong, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h. Sea waves are medium to high.

Tomorrow, Palestine is predicted to continue to be influenced by the low-pressure system, maintaining cloudy and cold to extremely cold conditions with heavy rainfall across most regions, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms.

On Sunday, the impact of the low-pressure system will persist, keeping temperatures cool to extremely cold, with heavy rainfall over most areas, and with thunderstorms and occasional hail.

Moving into next Monday, the weather in Palestine continues to be affected by the low-pressure system, with no significant change in temperatures. Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and occasional hail are expected.

People are warned ag
ainst potential flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, strong winds, slippery roads, and reduced visibility.
