Israeli military forces shot and killed a Palestinian and wounded five others during a raid Tuesday afternoon in the Jenin refugee camp north of the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
A man was fatally shot in the chest and three injured people, one seriously, arrived at the Jenin Government Hospital, while two others, one who suffered thy injuries and another who was hit in the shoulder, were transferred to Ibn Sina Hospital in the city, the ministry said in a statement.
Eyewitnesses told Petra reporter in Ramallah that soldiers fired a rocket on a house and a plume of smoke was rising from the site.
Elsewhere, the Israeli army rounded up 14 “wanted” Palestinians during raids and searches across the West Bank and in occupied East Jerusalem, which sparked clashes with local youth, but no injuries were reported.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club organization said the army sent those arrested to security agencies for participating in popular resistance acts.
