33 new COVID-19 cases reported in Syria on Monday

Syria reported on Monday 33 new coronavirus cases and 134 recoveries, according to a statement by Health Ministry.

The statement read that 55,399 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Syria since the onset of the pandemic, of which 50,091 have recovered while 3,117 have passed away.

On March 2020, the first coronavirus case was detected in Syria, meanwhile on the 29th of the same month, the first fatality was registered.
