Six branches of prestigious foreign universities were established in the New Administrative Capital, where studies began in the academic year (2020-2021), a fresh report submitted to Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar read.
The Egyptian state has paid great attention to the establishment of new international universities within Egypt Vision 2030, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to attract prestigious international universities with distinguished global classification, to establish branches in the New Administrative Capital, the report added.
The steps aim to improve the quality of higher education, provide graduates with skills required for the labour market, offer international education in Egypt, achieve more diversity and competitiveness among universities, deepen global education links, encourage Egyptian students to continue their education in Egypt instead of traveling abroad to get the quality education they want and attract international students to come and study in Egypt, the report read.
