Al-Kut Detachments of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in Wasit Police managed to arrest a person convicted of murder in a security operation carried out in Al-Hay district, south of Wasit.

A source in Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the convict is wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 P.C. Legal measures have been taken against him and he has been referred to the judiciary.
