Minister of Industry, Wael Abu Faour, met Monday with UN Resident Coordinator for Lebanon, Philippe Lazzarini, with whom he discussed the augmentation of price of Lebanese products purchased by the international organizations operating in Lebanon.
Lazzarini maintained that the UN aimed to support Lebanon's economy and products within the frame of the Lebanon Crisis Response Plan.
For his part, Abu Faour indicated that talks were fruitful, reminding that the UN organizations are spending fortunes to back and repatriate the displaced Syrians in Lebanon.
He added that their repatriation had failed because the Syrian regime had not made the decision to allow their return.
He also hoped that the Lebanese government would adopt a wise approach to the displaced Syrians' dossier.
