Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bashar al-Jaafari, affirmed that Syria won’t make any mistake in its foreign policy from a strategic point of view and time has proven the correctness of Syria’s stances towards several projects and agreements that aimed to divide the region.
Al-Jaafari added during a meeting on Tuesday with a delegation that comprises a number of tribes’ dignitaries and clergyman, headed by Sheikh Fayez Sheikh Abdul Rahman Sheikh Amis, that the war on Syria is mostly a liquidation of old political and historic accounts, most of which are because of Syria’s national and pan-Arab stances, particularly its support for the Palestinian cause.
For their part, members of the delegation said that all the clans, like the rest of Syrian Arab people, support their country and leadership until liberating the whole country from terrorism, stressing their rejection of any form of occupation.
