Damascus, Al-Qalbakjeh Souq (market) is one of the smallest markets in the Old City of Damascus.
The Souq, which is about 75 meters long, is located between Souq al-Harir (Silk market) and Souq al-Khayatin (Tailors market).
Al-Qalbakjeh is popularly known as Souq al-Neswan (Women market) because it caters to the women's needs of clothes and sewing equipment. One of its parts is called Tafdili Ya Set', an Arabic colloquial phrase meaning Welcome Lady.
