The Al Qasimi Foundation has launched a new initiative aimed at enhancing the educational capacity and talent development of the next generation of youth in Ras Al Khaimah. The foundation is partnering with local and global academic institutions to provide exceptional secondary school students with unique opportunities to shape their skills and abilities, preparing them to become successful leaders in the Emirate, UAE, and beyond. s part of this initiative, the foundation has invited leaders from seven top-tier universities in the USA to offer free information sessions, educating prospective higher education applicants about the US university application process. These sessions will provide valuable insights on how to develop a compelling and competitive college application, as well as discussions about academic planning, future career options, and understanding financial aid opportunities within educational institutions. The delegation of college counselors representing several renowned US universities, including Northwestern University, Vanderbilt University, Duke University, Georgetown University, Dartmouth College, Washington University, St Louis, and Barnard College (Columbia University), will be coordinated by Kevin Sim, a notable college counselor from Singapore with a successful track record of supporting students’ acceptance into Ivy League universities. “We are really eager to interact with a lot of enthusiastic Emirati and international students who are seeking opportunities with a diverse network of schools and universities,” Kevin Sim commented.
