Baghdad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani affirmed, today, Sunday, support for projects that provide more job opportunities for the people of Maysan Governorate.

During his meeting with a number of members of the House of Representatives from Maysan Governorate, Al-Sudani stressed the need to move forward with the priorities set by the government program, and the government’s efforts to include Maysan in investment plans and projects, and to support projects that provide more job opportunities for the people of the province, as well as government efforts aimed at addressing water scarcity In the province, through several reclamation and irrigation projects.

Al-Sudani was briefed on the most prominent of what the MPs presented regarding the needs of the citizens in Maysan, and he directed to meet them and to support the performance of the service agencies in them, in order to achieve the aspirations of the citizens and their entitlements in services.

The meeting witnessed discussions on the progress of providing services to citizens in the governorate, ways to enhance integration between the legislative and executive authorities, the importance of diagnosing priorities in the implementation of service projects, according to actual needs, and studies that take into account the urgent needs of citizens.
