Baabda meeting convened on Thursday under the chairmanship of Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, in presence of heads of political parties that are represented in the Lebanese government.
Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, attended the meeting, as well as Higher Learning and National Education Minister Marwan Hamadeh, representing PSP leader, Walid Jumblatt, Free Patriotic Movement leader, Foreign Affairs and expatriates Minister Gebran Bassil, President of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Kanso, head of the Lebanese Democratic Party, Minister of the Displaced Talal Arslan, head of Tashnaq Party MP Hagop Pakradounian, MP Mohammad Raad, representing "Hezbollah", Marada Movement leader, MP Sleiman Franjieh, and Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea.
Baabda meeting, which will be inaugurated with a word by Lebanese President Michel Aoun on constitutional, political, economic, and reform affairs, aims at activating governmental and parliamentary work.
