President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, on Tuesday met at the Baabda palace, with Caretaker Minister of Social Affairs and Tourism, Professor Ramzi Moucharafieh, with whom he discussed the path of the financing card and the assistance provided by the Ministry to the underprivileged families.
Discussions also touched on the country’s tourism sector’s prevailing conditions in light of the current fuel and electricity crisis.
On the other hand, President Aoun received cables of condolences for the victims of the fuel tank explosion in the town of Al-Tleil in Akkar, from Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad and former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi.
