President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, on Wednesday expressed hope that the new government will be formed soon in order to resolve the pressing issues, especially on the economic level.
He also underlined that the new government would prioritize national economy, fighting corruption, and the Syrian refugees' issue.
Aoun's remarks came during his meeting with a delegation of the Real Estate Traders' Union, headed by Elie Sawma, at Baabda palace.
Talks reportedly focused on the situation of the sector.
The delegation said it fully trusted the wisdom of the Head of State finding a solution to the current economic crisis in the country.
President Aoun also met former MP, Faysal Daoud, and Lebanese charge d'affaires of the Holy See, Khalil Karam.
