CAIRO, The Arab Parliament on Wednesday branded Israel’s wide-scale offensive on Palestinians as “war crimes and crimes against humanity.” The parliament chairperson Adel Al-Asousi addressed the parliament emergency session, saying “such hostile policies constitute provocation to sentiments of millions of Muslims and Christians in all parts of the world.” Israel has gone too far with its “flagrant aggression” against the Palestinian people, he said, condemning “the continuing barbaric bombardment targeting civilians in Gaza Strip where hundreds of martyrs have fallen.” The Arab parliament has contacted all influential international quarters and organizations seeking to end the Israeli offensives.
