Army starts combing operations in al-Jiza, Daraa countryside

Syrian Arab Army units have entered al-Jiza town in Daraa eastern countryside, after settling the status of the wanted and military deserters there, in implementation of the settlement agreement proposed by the state, and they started the combing operations in the town.

“Since this morning, army units began combing and searching operations inside and around al-Jiza town and removing dangerous waste, in order to preserve the lives of civilians and in preparation for the return of the service authorities and the practice of their work in a way that would be reflected positively on the level of services they provide to citizens,” SANA’s reporter in Daraa stated.

Over the past weeks, army units have reinforced their positions in many cities, towns and villages in the countryside of Daraa, where settlement operations have taken place, including large numbers of the wanted, according to the agreement proposed by the Syrian state last August.
