Average gross monthly earnings of employees during the fourth quarter of 2022 amounted to pound 2,546 compared to pound 2,404 during the fourth quarter of 2021, recording an increase of 5.9%, according to provisional data published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

Average gross monthly earnings during the fourth quarter of 2022, seasonally adjusted, are estimated at pound 2,237 and compared to the third quarter of 2022 they are up by 1.8%.

Average gross monthly earnings of male employees during the fourth quarter of 2022 are estimated at pound 2,735 and of female employees at pound 2,312.

Compared to the fourth quarter of 2021, the average gross monthly earnings of male and female employees recorded an increase of 6.6% and 4.7% respectively.
